WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR BATHHOUSE VISIT

Whether you're seeking quiet reflection, gentle conversation or simply time to yourself, our spaces are designed to help you move at your own pace.

There is no right or wrong way to experience Naia. Move between the sauna and cold plunge, spend time in the hot magnesium pool, or simply find a quiet place to rest.

Listen to your body and take your time.

EVERY BODY IS WELCOME

Naia is a welcoming and inclusive place for our whole community. All bodies, genders and identities are welcome here, and our bathhouse is a bathers-on environment, with swimwear worn throughout all bathing spaces.

Our changerooms are all-gender with private changing cubicles and secure lockers for your belongings and phone. The bathhouse has been designed with accessibility in mind, including accessible facilities and a pool hoist.

We want everyone to feel comfortable and safe while they’re here. We ask that you respect the people around you, their bodies, their privacy and their personal space. Inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.

Inside the bathhouse

  • Hammam steam room 40-45°C

Traditionally, hammam steam rooms are places for bathing, cleansing and scrubbing the skin. Our hammam is a warm, steamy space with high humidity and gentle heat.

Warm steam encourages relaxation, supports circulation, helps ease muscle tension and softens the skin, while the humid air can provide temporary relief from dryness and congestion.

A complimentary mineral salt scrub is provided for you to use during your visit. We recommend spending around 10–15 minutes in the hammam at a time, stepping out sooner if you feel too hot or uncomfortable.

  • Finnish-Style Sauna 85°C

Our Finnish-style sauna uses dry heat at around 85°C to warm the body and encourage sweating. Traditionally, saunas are a place to warm up, slow down and spend time with others.

The dry heat encourages sweating and increased circulation, helps relax muscles and ease tension, and regular sauna bathing has been associated with cardiovascular health benefits and improved overall wellbeing.

We recommend spending around 10–20 minutes in the sauna at a time, followed by time to cool down. You can repeat this throughout your visit, always stepping out sooner if you feel too hot or uncomfortable.

Please rinse off using the shower outside the sauna after each use.

  • Tea Lounge

Our tea lounge is a place to sit, rest and take a break from bathing. Help yourself to complimentary herbal tea, coffee, and light seasonal snacks throughout your visit.

  • Cold Plunge 8–10°C

Between the saunas and hammam sits our cold plunge, maintained at 8–10°C.

Use it on its own or between rounds of heat. If you’re new to cold plunging, start with around 30 seconds and build up from there.

You can move between hot and cold as many times as you like throughout your session.

  • Full-Spectrum Infrared Sauna 60°C

Our infrared sauna uses infrared heat to warm the body at a lower temperature than our Finnish-style sauna, making it a gentler heat experience.

We recommend spending around 15–20 minutes in the infrared sauna at a time. If you’re new to infrared heat, start with a shorter session and step out whenever you need to.

Please rinse off using the shower outside the sauna after each use.

  • The Courtyard

Step outside into our north-facing courtyard for some fresh air between bathing.

Take a seat, cool down and spend a little time outdoors before returning to the warmth. The courtyard is there to enjoy throughout your visit.

  • Hot Magnesium Pool 38°C

Our magnesium pool is heated to 38°C and sits alongside our large north-facing windows. It’s a place for a longer, slower soak between the hotter and colder parts of the bathhouse.

Stay for as long as feels comfortable, or come back to it throughout your session.
